Were actively working to restore complete functionality. Click the Scanner dropdown menu, and then select your printer. Mac: From the Applications list, open HP Easy Scan. On the Scan tab, click Scan a Document or Photo to open HP Scan. When I did this, I got a message that said System Extension cannot be used: The system extension “/Library/Extensions/hp_fax_io.kext” was installed improperly and cannot be used. HP Easy Scan is not yet compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina. Windows: Search Windows for your printer model name and number to open HP Printer Assistant.
